CSO40 - 2014 Awards Nomination
 
Nominate an award-worthy security initiative for
CSO magazine’s annual CSO40 Awards
 
Presented at the CSO40 Security Confab and Awards conference, the 2nd annual CSO40 Awards will recognize security projects and initiatives that demonstrate outstanding business value and thought leadership.  Unlike awards programs that recognize individuals, the CSO40 awards will honor specific organizations and a particular project/initiative within each organization.
 
Award nominations may be submitted by an organization itself, by public relations professionals representing a nominated organization, or by solution providers/partners of a nominated organization. Learn More.
2014 CSO40 Security Confab + Awards
 
 The nominating process is online and simple.  Just follow these steps:
  1. Mark your calendar for the award nomination deadline of September 16, 2013.  This is the date by which your nomination details will need to be submitted online to be considered.  Alert others in your organization who may need to know about the deadline.
  2. On or before that date, be prepared to submit:
  • The name of the project/initiative, along with a brief description of its objective (no more than 200 words)
  • A more detailed narrative describing the project (no more than 2,000 words)
  • Some empirical facts/metrics that demonstrate the project/initiative’s value (no more than 1,000 words)
  • During the nomination process, you will also be asked to provide details about key contacts in the nominated organization

Winners will be notified in November 2013, and the awards will be presented at the 2014 CSO40 Security Confab Conference in early April.
